At Moleworks Solutions Ltd, we have a deep-rooted understanding of the challenges posed by accessibility barriers. As a Disabled Person’s Organisation, and as a new start-up, we wholeheartedly welcome feedback on how we can improve accessibility across all our touchpoints. Our Commitment

Moleworks Solutions is pledged to ensure accessibility and inclusivity, not just on the website but also in any virtual events, in-person events, work placements and working with external stakeholders. As a socially driven company led by disabled people, we understand the paramount importance of creating spaces where everyone feels welcomed.

We lead with an equity-first, person-first lens. This is considered fully for employees, freelancers, contractors, work experience, clients and for the wider community we engage in day-to-day as part of our delivery.

Communication

You can interact with us via email, video conferencing platforms, or phone. Our default communication method is email and Google Meet, but you are welcome to request a different method to meet any access needs or preferences, with no need to disclose the reason why. If requested, pre meeting, we will provide summary notes post-conversation to create a tangible record and ensure mutual understanding.

Website Limitations

As a self-funded start-up, our website currently has its limitations concerning accessibility. However, we are committed to making future improvements. We include alt text on all of our visuals, including those that are decorative. There are no moving graphics anywhere on the website.

As we continue to improve our accessibility online we recommend the following tools for an enhanced user experience:

  • Screen Readers: NVDA (highly recommended) and Google Screen Reader

  • Font Adjustments: Font adaptations for dyslexic people and HelperBird

  • Colour Changes: Midnight Lizard and Colour Enhancer

Freelancer Collaboration

Understanding that freelance work can offer more accessibility for disabled people, we strive to collaborate with disabled and neurodivergent freelancers. Our work environment promotes flexibility, with no set working hours or in-person meetings required. We also work to a 48 hour invoice payment timeframe for our freelance team, and includes freelancers in company communications and socials for a cohesive team experience. Adjustments, whenever required, are fully implemented into wider team working practices for the length of the contract.
